All SESKU Diabetes UK Voluntary Group Meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of a month
We try our best to start Meetings at 6pm; therefore, being early, or on time, means that you will not miss anything! .
Details of all future meetings of the SESKU Diabetes UK Voluntary Group will be advertised regularly.
The meetings are free to attend and are open to all; our meetings are relaxed and informal, and are a time for you to slow down and relax, have a chat over a hot cuppa, or drink of juice, listen to our interesting guest speakers and take part in, or just listen to, discussions about the real issues that are affecting people living with diabetes.
Each meeting will include a presentation and discussion on a diabetic related topic such as Diet, Exercise and Healthcare Essentials; suggestions for future talks are welcome.
We welcome anyone who is affected by diabetes, whether you have diabetes yourself, live with someone who has diabetes, have a family member or friend who has diabetes, or if you just want to learn more about diabetes.
Due to lack of attendance at monthly meetings, there will be no more planned monthly meetings in 2014.
However, having stated that, Meetings will be arranged on the second Wednesday of any month whenever interest is shown, or a meeting is requested.
If any group in the Wakefield, or Pontefract, area would like a presentation on a Diabetes Related subject, please contact us to arrange details.
NB. Transport can be provided for those who need it; please contact Joy's Hall (01977 651450) for details.
